AI Link Building

Backlink Verification Tool for Submitted Listings

Backlink verification checks whether a known listing page contains a link to your website. AI Link Building uses recorded submission URLs for this check; it does not crawl the web to discover a complete backlink profile.

From submitted to verified

A submission receipt only confirms that a form was sent. The verification worker opens an eligible recorded listing URL and looks for a link whose hostname matches your website. A positive result records that the link was present during the check.

Allow time for moderation

The current worker selects unverified submissions at least 72 hours old and processes up to 50 per batch when run. Unsuccessful checks can be retried, with a maximum of five attempts. Actual execution depends on the worker or cron schedule.

Understand the limits of a result

A verified link does not prove Google indexing, dofollow status, referral traffic, or ranking value. A failed check can reflect delayed moderation, an inaccessible page, an incorrect recorded URL, or a missing link. Inspect the listing before interpreting failure as rejection by the publisher.

Verification versus continuous backlink monitoring

The current workflow verifies pending submissions and records the result. Already verified links are not automatically rechecked indefinitely. Use a separate recurring review if you need to detect later removals.

Frequently asked questions

Can I check every backlink pointing to a competitor?

No. This feature checks known submission pages for your website hostname. It is not a competitor backlink database or a domain-wide backlink checker.

Does verified mean indexed by Google?

No. It means a matching link was found on the recorded page at check time. Search engine indexing is a separate process.

Does verification keep monitoring a link forever?

No. The current worker processes pending unverified submissions. It does not continuously recheck links after they are verified.
